Left 4 Dead 2 — Complete Dedicated Server Guide

Startup Parameters

Default command line

Parameters (exhaustive, server-relevant only)

  • -game <dir> — Game directory. Required.
  • -console — Enable server console output.
  • -usercon — Enable user console commands.

  • +map <mapname> — Starting map. Required.
